This project was completed in Alicante in January 2025, using a dry grinding machine for the process.
In January 2025, Maincer, in collaboration with Equipceramic, completed the development and installation of a dry rectifier for thermoarcilla blocks. This project was carried out for a well-known company in Alicante, a manufacturer of various types of structural ceramics, with the goal of optimizing its production processes and improving the final product quality.

Thermoarcilla is a high-performance, low-density ceramic material used in construction as an alternative to traditional bricks and concrete blocks due to its superior insulation and breathability. It’s ideal for ventilated façades, ETICS systems, load-bearing walls, and interior partitions.
The technology developed by Maincer enables the grinding of the bearing surfaces of ceramic blocks, machining them with abrasive discs until they are perfectly flat and parallel, with a tolerance of +/- 0.5 mm. This process significantly improves the thermal performance of the construction system and allows for more precise, faster, and cleaner installation, thanks to the use of an adhesive joint just 1 mm thick.
